Long live the Rosé | These fresh and refreshing wines make us think of rose |

Congratulations to summer and a glass of best rosé wine!

Iit is summerand that means rosé is the perfect wine to be enjoyed at any time of the day. Rosevokes memories of are in the South of France, epicenter of the world of pinké, or very chic evenings on the lawn of the Hamptons, where connoisseurs drink the wine of the moment.

A good pinké will vary in its depth of pink, depending on how long the grape skins are involved in the winemaking process. Bold or light, lively and refreshing, these wines can be enjoyed dry as the desired style requires. Provence.

Here are five rosés we’re loving right now:

Whispering Angel Rosé

Everyone is talking about this one! From the Côteaux d’Aix-en-Provence region in France at Castle of Esclans, this rosé is a blend of five varietals, and we love the delicate balance between a slight sweetness and a deep dryness. There’s a special blend for the Queen’s Jubilee, and if it’s good enough for her, it’s good enough for us.

This award-winning Hampton Water rosé is created by Hampton resident and ICONIC rocker Jon Bon Jovi and his son, Jesse Bongiovi, from a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Mourvèdre. A good friend of mine reminds me to save water, drink wine, and I guess that’s what inspired this duo. This wine goes perfectly with the songs of the 80s of summer.

The best summer rosé

Here’s another brand we find ourselves saying yes to this year. Daou offers a nice range of wines from white to red. This rosé is made from almost all GRenache Noir, with only five percent Sauvignon Blanc. It is deeper in color and features hints of melon.

The bottle is as pretty as the wine inside, and we recently enjoyed this one at the Food & Wine Festival at the Balboa Bay Club. This summer sip blends Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault, and is a bit deeper in color. You will be rewarded for reaching the bottom of the bottle as a beautiful rose shape sits there to top off your experience. Cotes Des Rosés Rosé is a lovely hostess gift when you feel like bringing flowers.

Last year, the Prosecco DOC Consortium approved Prosecco Rosé as a recognized style, and this Italian brand is not just a refreshing drink rosé, but an effervescent sparkling to brighten up your day. This wine features strawberry notes and screams brunch when we tasted it.
