Stonewall, Texas – November 8, 2022 – Kuhlman Cellars is thrilled to announce two new wines in time for Thanksgiving: the 2021 Viognier and the 2019 Alluvé. This is the first Viognier produced by Kuhlman Cellars since the 2019 vintage. The wines will first be released available from Kuhlman Cellars’ Vina Vita Wine Club this weekend and will be available for purchase next week beginning November 14, 2022.
The new wines are:
- 2021 Viognier – ($32) The 2021 vintage marks the eighth year for Kuhlman Cellars to produce Viognier from Bingham Family Vineyards. The brilliant lemon yellow color invites drinkers to sip this delicious wine and discover lovely aromas of orange blossom, granny smith apple, nectarine and wet limestone. Prepare the palate for a flavor-rich experience with quince jelly and a lingering zesty finish. This wine is a must for the Thanksgiving table. - 2019 Alluvé – ($34) The 2019 vintage is back to the delicate fruity style with a big cherry “dress” perfectly matched with aromas of red cherry, raspberry, red apple and sweet thyme. The palate welcomes flavors of tart plum, persimmon, tobacco and is reminiscent of sitting by the fire during a holiday celebration.
