CIAO is planning a winemaking course this month | News, Sports, Jobs

Chautauqua Italian American Organization will hold its first winemaking class on Monday, November 28 at 6:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish Hall in Silver Creek. It’s not your grandfather’s wine that many of our grandfathers made that made your hair curl!

Why not learn the art of winemaking with demonstrations of winemaking technique. Small snacks will be provided. This is the first part of two parts, with the second part in about three months with the bottling of the wine.

For the low cost of $20, you will receive two bottles of wine, one white (Diamond) and one red (Concord). You will only have to provide your own bottles (750ml). Corks and a corker will be at your disposal at the time of bottling.

What a great gift to give someone for their birthday or an early Christmas present or you can make the wine and design a special label (not included) saying it was made especially for them by you! How unique!

Space is limited, so if interested, please send payment to CIAO, c/o Nance Ortolano, 10 Carol Avenue, Fredonia NY 14063. For questions, please call Sam Crisanti at 716-934-2592 or email email Nance Ortolano at [email protected] . Until then Hello!
